Our initial version of Highcharts GPT was trained on a static dataset, limited to information available up until 2021. As a result, it had no knowledge of the latest info on Highcharts.

With Highcharts GPT 2.0, we’ve introduced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enabling real-time access to the most current version of the Highcharts API and codebase.

Another benefit of RAG is that it reduces the risk of fabricated responses by using up-to-date information to enhance the model’s knowledge, ensuring you get accurate answers.

Editable Prompts

Highcharts GPT 2.0 introduces the time-saving ability to edit prompts in place rather than crafting new ones from scratch. This is especially useful when you’re working with complex requests that require only minor tweaks.

Also, by editing an existing prompt, Highcharts GPT retains the context of your previous request, avoiding misunderstandings that might occur if you start from a fresh prompt. This ensures more consistent and accurate responses based on your original intent.

Other Enhancements

We’ve added a convenient copy button to the code window, making it easy to instantly copy the code Highcharts GPT generates. No more highlighting or right-clicking—just click and paste it directly into your project.

Light/Dark mode

Highcharts GPT now supports both light and dark modes, allowing you to switch to your preferred display style.

Quick actions and feedback

We’ve introduced a new set of handy buttons under each response. You can now copy Highcharts GPT’s entire response (including the code) or regenerate it with a single click. Use the like/dislike buttons to rate Highchart GPT’s output to help us improve the accuracy of its responses.
