It is with great pleasure to announce the release of version 1.1 of our Accessibility Module, available for all users of Highcharts 5.x.

As accessibility is an organization-wide priority at Highsoft, spanning all our products, we are also excited to also announce that Highcharts Cloud, our hosted chart editor for end users, now fully integrates Highcharts’ latest accessibility features.

This means that users of Highcharts Cloud, both free and premium editions, are able to generate and publish screen-reader and keyboard-navigation optimized charts without additional effort.

This release marks the one-year anniversary of presenting the beta version of our Accessibility module together with our design-partner, Elsevier, at the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference in San Diego, California.

We credit much of the insight and inspiration for our accessibility work to Ted Gies, from Elsevier, and the wonderful and helpful subject matter experts we engaged for feedback during our development.
We look forward to seeing you all, as well as other wonderful people and innovators at this year’s conference at CSUN.

For examples of charts enabled with our Accessibility module, check out these demos.
