How the data connector works

Use our pre-built data connector to securely integrate Morningstar data with Highcharts.

    Token requestThe client architecture requests the JWT token from the back-end server
  2. 2.
    Login & authorizationThe back end server passes the request along with credentials to the Morningstar’s Direct Web Services (DWS) server
  3. 3.
    Token deliveryThe Morningstar’s DWS server delivers the JWT token to the back-end server. The back-end server sends the token to the connector
  4. 4.
    Data connection and visualizationThe connector fetches data from the DWS server and then passes the data to Highcharts in the front-end
