Highcharts cloud is now everviz

As of March 1, 2020, Highcharts Cloud will be renamed to everviz and operated under a new subsidiary called Visual Elements, managed, supported and further developed by the same people who brought you Highcharts Cloud.

By spinning off Highcharts Cloud, the everviz team gets to focus exclusively on customers in need of web-based tool for creating visualizations, while the rest of Highsoft continues to build tools for developers.

Any new signups between February 24th and March 1st will be processed by Highsoft, but forwarded to everviz, and deleted from Highsoft’s systems on March 1.

Here is what it means to you. From March 1st:

  1. everviz.com will become the new URL for the service. Should you go to the old Highcharts Cloud URL you will be redirected to everviz.com

  2. You will not lose access to the service, your data or any published charts – they will still work.

  3. The Highsoft team will continue to service your account for any other products you may have with Highsoft.

  4. Any information collected is safeguarded according to the applicable legislation concerning personal data. How everviz collects and retains information about you is detailed in their Privacy Policy

  5. Any account information will be transferred from Highsoft AS to Visual Elements AS and removed from Highsoft’s servers and systems. (Financial transactional data will be retained by Highsoft for 10 years, as required by Norwegian law).

Who is Visual Elements?
It is the company that has been spun off from Highsoft to build and support, everviz, formerly known as Highcharts Cloud.

How can I close my account and erase all my personal information?

Will I have two different accounts, one for Highcharts Cloud and one for everviz?
You can use your legacy Highcharts Cloud login in everviz. everviz.com will become the new URL for the service. Should you go to the old Highcharts Cloud URL you will be redirected to everviz.com

Will charts created on my account with Highcharts Cloud continue to work?
Yes. All your existing charts and settings will work just like before under everviz. You do not need to take any action on your existing embedded charts. All charts will remain online and fully operational during and after the transition.

I have also purchased other Highcharts products. What will happen with those?
The license agreement you have on the Highcharts products will remain with you and Highsoft and the Highsoft team will continue to service your account as usual for those products.

What happens to my account data?
All you account data, including billing and personally identifiable data, will be transferred to Visual Elements, and deleted from Highsoft’s systems. The only exception is your payment history, as Highsoft needs to keep a copy for 10 years in compliance with Norwegian accounting laws. Do I need to update my payment information?
No. You will continue to enjoy uninterrupted services on your account.

Will there be any changes to pricing?
No. There will be no changes to your plan or pricing at this time.

What if I sign up before March 1st?

Terms and conditions
The terms and conditions for the service will be from Sunday March 1st governed by everviz. The terms and conditions for everviz are based on the Highcharts Cloud terms and there are no major changes https://www.everviz.com/terms

Custom Contracts
If you have a custom agreement with us, there will not be any changes to the terms and conditions for your current subscription period.

In terms of security, what are the changes that will affect us, such as data hosting location, etc?
All infrastructure and third-party services (I.e recurly and braintree for payments) remain the same. That is, the servers are hosted on AWS in Dublin, set up the exact same way as currently.
