Use square for square layouts, or when greater readability is required.
Use outlined for the logo to stand out in a grayscale print, for print on clothes etc.
Sets white text/logo stroke for use on a darker background.
Use bolder text for better legibility, for example in a mixed layout with other logos, when the logo is small etc.

Use SVG or PDF whenever possible. They are lossless and scalable, so pixels don’t appear when the logo is scaled up. Use PNG when the others are not technically possible due to software restraints.
