Screen capture: Edge vs Chrome

A general question here...i notice that often times when i try to do a screen capture of my charts using Chrome, they seem washed out - and i am barely able to see labels and some series.
This doesnt happen always and i cant figure out what is causing it.
When it does happen, i open hedge and i try there and im able to do a screen capture that does not have the bright/washed out look.

Has anyone else experienced this and know what may be the cause of it?

Re: Screen capture: Edge vs Chrome

Hello,

I did a few screenshots as a test, but in my case nothing like that occurs, maybe it depends on the resolution or the scale of the interface. Anyway, a better option than making screenshots is to use the export module and save the graph as graphics by the module.

Here you can read more about this module and how to use it: https://www.highcharts.com/docs/export- ... e-overview

It looks like it was more an issue with HDR and chrome. I found a support article to change some setting to sRGB..which seems to have resolved it.

Hi,

It's nice that you figured it out and shared it on the forum. I'm not sure if it's a problem with Highcharts, but you can report it on GitHub, it will be analyzed more there.

You can create a new bug ticket here: https://github.com/highcharts/highchart ... new/choose
