Specified marker symbol not being animated

Hi

I am facing an issue when specifying a symbol in/on a marker.

When the data is updated, the line is animated (moving from old values to new ones) but the marker jumps but only when specified. If the marker symbol "selection" is left to Highcharts, the marker will be animated.

Either I am doing something wrong or there is a bug?
