I'm getting the same error, with perfectly ordinary JPG's, so clearly something in the Editor is broken.

Highslide JS is no longer supported, however, so this may not get fixed. I've PM'ed one of the moderators/support people to see if there's any chance of getting someone to look at this. I'll post back if I hear anything.

Not sure what happened, or when, but at least for the present, the image uploader seems to be working again.

Is it that the editor is broken again? I have not been able to upload pictures, it's giving me some kind of random error message just like the one the OP posted above. Please has anyone tried it of late?

The Editor required Adobe Flash Player if you wanted to upload images, and most browsers no longer have it. In fact, it won't be long before Flash will be unavailable entirely, in any browser. But even with Flash enabled, I'm getting no response to the Select files to upload button, so I suspect it's been shut off for good.

If you want to continue using Highslide JS, you're going to have to code the pages yourself, at least when it comes to providing your own images. The rest of the code generator looks like it's working well enough, generating the CSS and Javascript needed to support the options you've chosen, at least as far as I can tell.

This really is a dead product, and people need to move to something else.
