Hi Torstein, hi guys,

I used this great gallery script for a massive system update of my website http://www.illuminated-alley.org so you maybe want to check it out and have a look.

Best wishes (and thx for the script),
Sebastian

Hello Sebastian,

Very cool site, it took me a little while to figure out the navigation but I like it! The site matches your work well.

Showcase

Fri Jan 09, 2009 1:04 am

Hi All,

I've just completed a major revision of my nature photography website, using Rapid Weaver with the Camilo theme, Swiss Army Image Slideshow in the splash page, and Highslide for the image galleries (with the exception of the New Image Portfolio, for which Lightroom 2 supplied a nearly identical effect as HS).

Take a look: http://martinwgrosnick.com

I still am working out some minor annoyances, but I think it demonstrates the great functionality of Highslide--thank you Torstein for such a great app!

Thanks for looking, and comments are welcome!

Very nice, love the photography. The website looks very clean and well laid out. I wish I could shoot some stuff like that, but the only wildlife I ever shoot is an out of control wedding reception. :D

T,

Thanks for the favorable comment! I thought the design really turned out well...

And like they say, "give a guy a camera for 30+ years and he's bound to get a few keepers"!

Martin, you are way too humble, those are truly great images! You might want to look at going to New Zealand sometime, there is a place called Fjordland, it would be quite suitable to your style.

Have you seen this work? Really nice. http://www.jamespaulphotography.co.uk/home.html

Just wanted to express my gratitude for making Highslide JS available to use, and have such a great support group around it.

I used the viewer for a personal website http://www.therampens.net to share photos with friends and family around the world.

My use of Highslide JS is mostly standard within a PHP site, but I did configure it to show a photo caption on the right hand side instead of below a photo. I used it to pop up Quicktime video clips as well.

Thanks again!

The new site is up and running! Here's the link. http://www.timage.com/Main.html

Thanks to all who made it possible by helping me get the code right, and all the helpful tips! Thank you Torstein! Thank you Jeff!

I struggled with my opening text, THAT took some time! I wish my english was better, it would have went faster! I still have more galleries to add, at least four, and I could use some help on getting a better field tile background, but, it's up!!!! :D It's up! It's up! It's up! (doing a little dance)

Did I mention my site is up?? It's up! It's up! It's up! (more dancing) It's up! It's up! It's up!

highslide with coverflow example

Thought you might be interested in this implementation of highslide including coverflow view mode at:

(example page):

I was going to try to somehow put in a right-arrow function for next expansion in coverflow mode but life got in the way
;)

A few minor twists on the standard Highslide implementation here, click across several different pictures to see

Many thanks to Torstein and Roadrash for their help in the forums in bending things to my will!

While simple in design, the challenge to this project was integrating Highslide with ASP.NET and CMotion Image Gallery

Highslide is driven from an online database on the .Net 2.0 framework. User can manage all images with descrption and link to another page or site through CMS.

Featured Artists at bottom of page.

Had to integrate the following as well...
CMotion Image Gallery- ┬® Dynamic Drive DHTML code library (http://www.dynamicdrive.com)

Some info on how it was done.
http://highslide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3107

Thanks for creating HighSlide. Plan to use it again.
