Technical Indicators on line charts

Can I clarify if the technical indicators (supertrends, zigzag etc.) require a linkedTo data set in ohlc format, or should they work with simple [datestamp, value] data sets?

I can get the simple moving average indicator to work on a line type data chart, but I'm not seeing anything displayed when I try to add the other indicators.

Thanks

Re: Technical Indicators on line charts

Hello daryl,

Welcome to our forum and thanks for contacting us with your question!

Some indicators might require additional data which is for example natural for OHLC or Candlestick series, but most of the available indicators work with line series and [timestamp, value] data format. Check this demo, set series to line and try to add different indicators:

If you would have a question for a particular one indicator then perhaps I could help you more.

Best regards!
