I have used highslide (galleries and html) for years without any problems but after activating CDN (1und1 Managed Server) it screwed up and there are no more popups.
After deactivating it works again?!
Are there any parameters or other solutions to avoid this?

There's nothing within HS itself that's involved. It simply needs to be able to load certain resources like the script and the graphics. Launch your page and pull up the developer tools in the browser, and see what resources are missing when you switch to the CDN. You'll probably need to get help from your web host.
