The zooming capability is a powerful feature that allows users to interact and explore the chart at will; The zooming capability is highly recommended when a large data set is used to find and track trends.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.highcharts.com\/samples\/embed\/highcharts\/demo\/line-time-series\" width=\"100%\" height=\"580px\"><span style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><span style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Previously, zoom interactions created a preview of the scaled chart elements while zooming, and once the zoom was finished, the chart would completely redraw.<\/p>\n<p>But with our enhanced pinch zoom functionality, axes and series now redraw continuously while zooming, creating a smoother experience. We also performed a deeper refactoring of our whole zoom, pan and mousewheel logic.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Improved Layout Control for Sankey Diagrams and Org Charts<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Sankey nodes now support an auto width setting. Just set the <code><a href=\"https:\/\/api.highcharts.com\/highcharts\/series.sankey.nodeWidth\">sankey.nodeWidth<\/a><\/code> option to auto and your Sankey nodes will fill the entire plot area in the longitudinal direction, regardless of the number of levels. Then use the new <code><a href=\"https:\/\/api.highcharts.com\/highcharts\/series.sankey.nodeDistance\">sankey.nodeDistance<\/a><\/code> option to space your nodes evenly across the plot area.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none;\" title=\"This chart demonstrates the node distance property\" src=\"https:\/\/highcharts.github.io\/highcharts-utils\/samples\/#gh\/aa47e4ac69\/sample\/highcharts\/series-sankey\/node-distance\" width=\"100%\" height=\"500px\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The same node-width\/node-distance pairing also works with the organization chart and treegraph series.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Stock Improvements<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Enhanced X-axis Overscroll<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>We\u2019ve enhanced the <a href=\"https:\/\/api.highcharts.com\/highstock\/xAxis.overscroll\"><code>xAxis.overscroll<\/code><\/a> feature to accept pixel and percentage values.<\/p>\n<p>If you set the x-axis overscroll to a percentage string, the string is interpreted as a percentage of the axis length. For example, an overscroll setting of \u201850%\u2019 will make a 100px axis 50px longer.<\/p>\n<p>If you set the x-axis overscroll to a pixel string, e.g. \u201850px\u2019, the string is interpreted as a fixed-pixel value.
